bhutan film trust - update august 2014

Pema Tshering, Bhutanese artist tintin, designed the Bhutan Film Trust logo.
Sonam Chophel is working on the Bhutan Film Trust website which we hope to have ready by end of September 2014 and which will replace this weblog.

We have listed the Beskop Tshechu 2013 films that, with official permission of the directors, can be screened in Europe. Those interested can contact the Bhutan Film Trust through bhutan+partners for formalities, a copy and information about the films.

The legal structure of the Trust, which will be registered in the Netherlands and coordinated through bhutan+partners for the first three years, is to be transferred to Bhutan within 4 to 5 years. Bhutanese members in the strategic and technical committees support the Dutch board members.
